Partners in Education
Fairview Hospital participates in Partners in Education, a program that helps support students in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Our partnership activities have resulted in an increase in attendance, scholarship, service and leadership. We help to build character and citizenship, and motivate students to think about career decisions.
Fairview Hospital's Partnership in Education Program, initiated in 1990, supports health programs at Wilbur Wright K-8 School which is a part of the Cleveland Municipal School District. These programs include health education for students and faculty, Career Day, Fairview Hospital Shadow Day, and Bike Helmet Safety Program among other various health activities. In 1994, the Partnership in Education Program expanded to include Louis Agassiz K-8 School which is located a half a mile from Wilbur Wright.
