At Fairview Hospital, the Department of Nursing is here to assist our patients and families to achieve wellness, however the patient defines wellness, throughout their lifespan, in collaboration with the entire health care team.    Our care is patient focused, evidence based, service oriented, and opportunity drive.  The patient and family are at the center of all care activities.  The safety and comfort of our patients are our number one priority.    Care is based on what science and research tell us are the best and most appropriate interventions to meet the patient’s needs.  We are committed to service excellence in every interaction and strive to improve the quality of care and services at every opportunity.  Our goal is to make Fairview Hospital the best place for our patients to receive care, the best place for our physicians to practice medicine, and the best place for all of our staff to work.
