Patient Meal Times

Nourishing, well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery.  Fairview Hospital makes every effort to provide nutritious meals that are prepared according to your doctor's orders.  Meal times for patients vary throughout the hospital.  However, you can expect meals to be served within the following ranges:

                  Breakfast:     7:30 - 8:30am

                  Lunch:          11:30am - 12:30pm

                  Dinner:          4:30 - 5:30pm

Your diet may change during your stay, and meals may be delayed depending on your scheduled procedures or tests.  With most diets, you will be given a menu for the following day so that you may select what you would like to have.

Guest Meals

Visitor dining is available in the Hospital Cafeteria, located near the main lobby on teh first floor of the hospital.  Cafeteria hours are 6:30am to 7:00pm each day.  Java Express, located on the first floor lobby of the Medical Office Building, provides a variety of gourmet coffees, pastries, and other snack foods.  Other vending areas may be available nearby as well.  Please ask a staff member for the area closest to your room.
