CaringBridge® is a nonprofit organization offering free personalized Web sites that allow people to stay in touch with family and friends during a health crisis, treatment and recovery. The goal of the service is to ease the burden of keeping friends and family updated, while also providing a way for them to send their love, support and encouragement. With a few keystrokes, Fairview Hospital patients and their family members can quickly and easily create private and personalized Web sites that display personal journal entries and photographs. Family and friends visit the site to read updates and leave messages of support in the guestbook.

The badge includes the issue date, visitor name and hospital department they are visiting.
Visitors in the hospital from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. Monday through Friday and 24 hours on the weekends and holidays must obtain a badge from the ParkView Information/Security Desk. Individuals in the hospital prior to 7 p.m., but staying for the evening or overnight are asked to go to the information desk to pick up a badge. Visitors accompanying Emergency Department patients will be issued a temporary badge. Visitor badges may be obtained at any time and extended badges are available.
