The Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center at Fairview Hospital is proud to be the first hospital in the state of Ohio to offer their patients the new ARTISTE™. Developed by Siemens Healthcare, the ARTISTE™ is an integrated and comprehensive imaging, treatment and workflow solution created specifically for Adaptive Radiation Therapy (ART). The goal of ART is to ensure that the therapeutic dose is delivered precisely to the target tumor and that healthy tissue is spared.

 

 

ARTISTE™ has the ability to make changes in real-time during the delivery of the radiation therapy and is constructed to deliver high-precision radiotherapy, increasing the dose to the tumor while sparing the healthy tissue.

 

 

ARTISTE™ is a new trend-setting radiation therapy technology which offers clinicians multiple imaging choices. The machine allows clinicians to choose the appropriate treatment technique for each patient, make critical adjustments on the spot, and deliver true ART according to individual patient needs precisely, consistently and confidently.
