The Fairview Hospital Pediatric ED staff is composed of physicians who are experts in attending to the special needs of a child and a parent’s peace of mind. Additionally, the registered nursing staff has advanced training in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). As a result, pediatric patients receive the highest quality of care available.

With the addition of a colorful, family-friendly environment, Fairview’s Pediatric ED has all the right ingredients for children to receive quality care, fast. Because the Pediatric ED is supported by a Level II trauma center, emergencies more serious than broken bones and sickness may be treated. In addition, parents can be confident that should their child need additional treatment, Fairview Hospital’s pediatric department can provide exceptional care.
Fairview Hospital’s new Pediatric Emergency Department is part of The Children’s Hospital Pediatric Emergency Medicine Network. This network was created to bring together the strengths of The Children’s Hospital, The Children’s Hospital outpatient practices, Cleveland Clinic Health System Hospitals and independent community physicians to provide our community with the highest level of pediatric emergency care that is available.
