For our younger patients with suspected heart conditions, the Fairview Heart Center offers pediatric cardiology services.  Our pediatric cardiologist is available for cardiac evaluations of infants and children referred by their physician.  If needed, our pediatric cardiologist also offers echocardiograms or heart ultrasounds. 

Parents are encouraged to stay with their child during this noninvasive procedure.  The test involves using a small “camera” on the child’s chest in which the cardiologist can look at the heart and evaluate how it is functioning.  Each child’s evaluation is discussed with the parents and the child’s referring physician.  Together, the parents and the child’s physicians can select the most appropriate course of treatment.  For more information, call (216) 476-7210.
